Sandra Larson

Sandra Larson is a Boston-based independent journalist and a regular contributor since 2009 to the Bay State Banner, a longstanding weekly covering Greater Boston’s communities of color. Her work has also appeared in The New York Times, Next City, The Guardian, and in local/regional publications Exhale magazine, South End News and Bay Windows. She has covered a wide swath of urban issues and policy topics including housing and foreclosure, community response to development, transit equity, economic development, racial justice and education/school readiness disparities.
