Through skin-savvy treatments, body rituals and beauty services, Boston spa queen Joyce Hampers’ is known for providing “the formula for the essentials of life” at her award-winning G2O Spa + Salon in the heart Back Bay.
This year, she is contributing a new formula for success aimed at female entrepreneurs.
In April 2019, Hampers proudly announced the launch of the first-ever G2O Female Entrepreneurship Grant Program. The program’s goal: to support the creation and/or advancement of female entrepreneurs and their efforts in achieving their business goals.
The guaranteed allotment of a $3,000 base grant is helpful. But, the accompanying one-year mentorship program with Hampers is truly priceless.
The winner will have the opportunity to hone their professional skills under the direction of one of Boston’s leading entrepreneurs. They will also meet other influential industry executives to help further shape her road to success.
“As a female business owner, I understand the challenges and roadblocks many women face on their path to running a successful business,” says Hampers, who established the program as part of G2O’s 25th anniversary. “I’ve experienced many of these same hurdles throughout my career. There was no better time to honor and support this next generation of inspiring women; their tireless passion and drive in making their dreams become a reality.”
Women with a desire to pursue or enhance their professional career as a business owner in any industry, whether they are seeking support for an existing endeavor or just beginning a passion project, can submit an application through September 30 for the G2O Female Entrepreneurship Grant Program.
Submit applications via the spa’s website for personal review by Hampers. G2O will announce the winning recipient in late November 2019.
