This seasonal popup is an opportunity to experience skating in the heart of Boston. Under the twinkling lights of the former Sears Building the sounds of the city will melt away around you. Skates can be rented at The Rink, but the attempted triple axel is all you.

Walk five minutes down Boylston Street to Hojoko, a popular Fenway haunt dedicated to Japanese nightlife. Visit the Dino Safari experience at Faneuil Hall Marketplace for a trip to a less risky version of Jurassic Park. You and the family can walk among more than 30 life size moving dinosaurs. In the interactive experience you might find yourself surviving an earthquake, watching to dinosaurs battle or even saving a baby dinosaur from a dangerous situation. Along the way you and the kids will learn about each type of dinosaur, how they lived and what paleontologists have discovered about them over time.

The only way to top an experience like the Dino Safari is with post-fun French fries. Head to Saus for a menu of poutine and fries with more than 13 dipping sauces to choose from. If you’re looking for something more substantial try one of the many sandwich options, like the Cauli Falafel sandwich with cauliflower falafel, pickled cabbage, tomato pickles and garlic and chickpea mayo. For dessert there are Belgian dessert waffles for the kids and boozy ice cream from local makers Crème de Liqueur for the adults.
