When it comes to football, Edelman isn’t the only one who cleans up nice. Watch two teams of dapper men and women tackle it out during the Three Piece Suit Charity Football Game in Rogers Park. Admission is free but all proceeds from VIP tickets, raffle entries, and donations go to Operation Delta Dog in Chelmsford, a group that rescues and trains shelter dogs as companions for veterans. In addition to a killer football game, enjoy a live halftime performance, food, and drinks by beverage sponsor Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

Walk down the street to The Green Briar to recap the game over brews and classic Irish bar food like fish and chips. Celebrate sustainability at the fourth annual Green Arts Festival at MassArt. Meet local green artists and see visual and performance art live in the MassArt courtyard. Natural food vendors like the Boston-based Grillo’s Pickles will offer refreshments for purchase and baker Anya Talatinian will be making bread in an on-site brick oven. Environmental organizers will also speak about how to get involved in green causes.

Walk five minutes to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum for its Saturday Open Studio event. Included with museum admission, these Saturday workshops explore repetition and experimentation in fiber arts. You can try your own artistic hand at working with yarn and create a tapestry. Visiting artist Shane Maxwell, who has spent much of his career dyeing and painting fabrics for the Boston Ballet and the Santa Fe Opera, will lead the workshop.

Escape the city for a natural adventure in the Rocky Woods reservation. Enjoy peak foliage season with a short hike or a woodland picnic. Kids can check out an Adventure Backpack from the park ranger on duty, which includes a magnifying glass, binoculars, a bug box, and a field guide chock-full of activities for 3-to-8-year-olds. There are 10 backpacks available to guide families through the reservation in a fun and educational way.

The ticket price benefits the scholarship fund of the Chefs Table Foundation.
